Chocolaterie since 1895


Ingredients (for 24 muffins)

200 g butter or margarine
220 g sugar
1 packet vanilla sugar
3  eggs
500 g flour
2 packets baking powder
4 dessertspoons milk
grated chocolate according to taste
(e.g. 1985 “Milk 32%“, 1895 “Dark 70%“ or 1895 “White 27%“)


  1. Mix all the ingredients together. Then add a small amount of milk (ca. 4 -5 dessertspoons) and mix everything together until the sponge mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Place paper cups in the muffin baking tray and fill them half way up with the mixture.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the muffins for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Allow the muffins to cool down and decorate them as you wish
